The City of Fairmont has officially launched their brand new website. With the launch comes more information for citizens, ways to better communicate with City officials, and a more user-friendly experience.
New features include a notification center where users can sign up to receive email and text notifications for events like boil water advisories, street paving, and road closures. The request tracker allows citizens to submit a service request and report problems to different departments. “This entire site is so much more user-friendly for the community and allows them to keep up with what the City has going on and in a much better layout,” said Hanna Weaver, Program Manager of Marketing and Communications.
