Rescue 4
Rescue 4 is a 2001 GMC C-6500 commercial cab medium rescue. It carries various tools capable of vehicle extrication, confined-space rescue, rope rescue, structural rescue and basic hazardous materials control. This truck has a PTO generator capable of powering its multiple on-board scene lights, and meeting any other power needs at an emergency scene. Rescue 4 is also capable of filling firefighters' air bottles.
Engine 41
Engine 41 is a 2007 Small Advantage Class-A custom pumper. It carries 500 gallons of water, and has a 25-gallon foam induction system. It is capable of pumping 2,000 gallons of water per minute. It also carries hydraulic rescue tools to supplement the rescue truck with extrication.
Engine 42
Engine 42 is a 2011 Pierce Freightliner Class-A pumper. It holds 1,000 gallons of water, and various firefighting tools, ladders and hose. Engine 42 is housed at East-Side Station.
Engine 43
Engine 43 is 1995 Pierce Saber Class-A custom pumper. It holds 500 gallons of water, and various firefighting tools, ladders and hose and can flow water at 1,250 gallons per minute. Engine 43 is stationed at Watson Station.
Engine 44
Engine 44 is a 1996 Pierce Saber, Class-A custom pumper. It holds 500 gallons of water, and various firefighting tools, ladders and hose and can flow water at 1,250 gallons per minute. Engine 44 is located at Central Station.
Ladder 47
Ladder 47 is a 2007 pierce 100-foot platform truck with a 2,000-gallon-per-minute pump twin, 2,000-gallon-per-minute nozzles on the platform, 515 horsepower (HP) Detroit Diesel Engine, 30-gallon on board tank, fully equipped ladder company stationed in Central Fire Station.
Unit 49
Unit 49 is a 2001 GMC Astro Van. It is a department vehicle.
Unit 58
Unit 58 is a 2011 Ford Explorer for EMS calls.
Chief 4
This is the Fire Chief's vehicle. It is a 2014 Ford Explorer.
Boat 4
Boat 4 is a 14-foot flat-bottom powerboat. It has a 15 HP motor, and is used for rescue, recovery and access to incidents on the rivers and bodies of water in and around Fairmont.
Safety 4
Safety 4 is a 2014 Ford Explorer for training fire prevention.
Haz-Mat Trailer
It is a 2010 enclosed trailer for transporting equipment for haz-mat incidents.
