Keeping up with all the street lights in Fairmont is a big job! Our Traffic Department staff do not maintain the traditional street lights (only the antique ones in the downtown/Merchant Street area), but always notify Mon Power when one is reported to them. You can help them to expedite this process by reporting broken, burned out, or damaged street lights to Mon Power at 1-888-LIGHTSS our at the below link on their website any time!

To report an outdoor or streetlight outage please be prepared with the following information: 1. Street address closest to the light/pole in question

2. The pole number where the light is located (this is not required, but it does help!). Pole numbers are often silver or yellow tags nailed on the pole!
