Building Inspection & Rental Registration
NOTICE
The following rate changes will take effect July 1, 2022:
Building Permit Fees will be determined by 2% of the total cost of the job with a minimum fee of $60.00
Electrical permit/inspection fees will be a minimum of $100.00
Duties
The Department of Building Inspection and Rental Registration is responsible for:
- The administration and enforcement of Building Codes as adopted by the City Council
- The administration and enforcement of the Rental Registration Ordinance adopted by the City Council
- Issuing building permits
- Providing applications, forms and requirements for building permits, including:
- Applications and forms
- General information and requirements for building permits
