On November 7th, 2018 The City of Fairmont Water Department is repairing a main water line affecting Bonanza Ln., Aztec Ct., Riverview Dr., Riverview Ln., Loren Ln., Apache Circle, Skyhawk Ct. and the surrounding areas.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If your service has had low water pressure, a loss of water, or discoloration of water, DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST.

Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Boiling your water kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.

What is being done? City of Fairmont is repairing a main water line. Samples will be collected for bacteriological testing and results determined in 24 hrs. Please contact the Water Treatment Plant at 304-366-1461 on November 8th, 2018 after 9:00 pm to determine if the boil water advisory has been lifted.
