BOIL WATER ADVISORY for Arlington Ct, Courtland St, Columbia St, Diamond St, Hall St & surrounding

BOIL WATER ADVISORY- On March 13th , 2018 The City of Fairmont Water Department is repairing a main water line affecting Arlington Court, Courtland Street, Columbia Street, Diamond Street, Hall Street and the surrounding area.


If your service has had low water pressure, a loss of water, or discoloration of water, DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST.

Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Boiling your water kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.

What is being done? City of Fairmont is repairing a water line. Samples will be collected for bacteriological testing and results determined in 24hrs. Please contact the Water Treatment Plant at 304-366-1461 on March 14th, 2018 after 5:00pm to determine if the boil water advisory has been lifted.
