The Fairmont Fire Department is now accepting applications for the position of Firefighter. Complete this form to receive the application packet via mail OR applications and informational packets may be obtained at the Office of the City Clerk, Room 312, Meredith Building, 200 Jackson Street, Fairmont, West Virginia between 9:00 a.m., Monday, April 18, 2016 and 12:00 p.m., noon, Friday, June 17, 2016. The last day applications will be accepted is 12:00 p.m., noon, on Friday, June 17, 2016. The physical endurance test will be given on Monday, June 27, 2016 with the written exam to be scheduled soon thereafter.
